Bezel Rollers

Bezel Rollers are used for stone settings. They are crafted from a soft metal, and fitted with a smooth wooden handle for ease of use. This tool allows engravers to push the metal of a setting over the stone, whilst avoiding damage to the stone itself.

Square End Pushers

This tool is a pusher with a flat square end. It’s made from a soft metal to help prevent damage to the surface of the engraving, and fitted with a wooden handle. These tools are most often used to push metal of a setting over a stone. They are best suited either to a ‘Rubover Setting’ or ‘Claw Setting’.

Burnishers

Burnishers are versatile tools that can be used for various different techniques. They can help create a shine and contrast to matte finishes by highlighting the edges of engravings. A curved burnisher is also often used to burnish over any errors an engraver may of made. This is done by pushing a small amount of metal into the scratched area, helping to disguise the mistake.
